At Lori's Language Lab, we’re here to help Intermediate and advanced learners shine! We know there are plenty of free resources for Beginners, so we focus on taking your skills to the next level. If you’re just starting out, don’t worry—we’d love to help you find a Beginner class that’s perfect for you. Just reach out through our Contact Us page, and we’ll point you in the right direction!

That’s a tricky one to answer—it really depends on your goals! If you’re focusing on one specific topic, Lori says you’ll start to feel like you’ve got the hang of it after about 2 months. By 3 months, you’ll likely feel comfortable and confident. Of course, everyone’s journey is different, and we’re here to support you for as long as you need!

Both options are fantastic, and we’re happy to offer in-person lessons in the Plano area! Online classes, however, give you more flexibility and come with the added bonus of detailed notes from your tutor. Everything covered in your online session is sent to you afterward, so you can review it anytime you need. Whether you prefer the personal touch of in-person learning or the convenience of online sessions, we’ve got you covered!

No need to stress about finding the right tutor—Lori’s Language Lab has you covered! We have an amazing team of tutors who specialize in a variety of areas, and they’re all fantastic. During your free consultation, we’ll chat about your goals, current level, and schedule to match you with the perfect tutor. It’s all about making sure you feel supported and set up for success from day one!

During your consultation, we’ll take the time to get to know you and your goals. We’ll chat about things like:

- What do you want to achieve with your new English skills?

- Do you prefer learning one-on-one or in a group?

- How can we help you improve your English, refine your accent, and boost your confidence?

Yay! You’ve taken the first big step—congratulations! After your consultation and letting us know you’re ready to move forward, here’s what you can expect:

- A welcome email to get you started

- An invoice for the remainder of the month

- Your contract to review, sign, and send back

- A photo release form

- A new student information form

Once your invoice is paid and we’ve received all your documentation, you’ll be ready to start classes with your tutor! If you’re taking one-on-one classes and need to adjust your schedule, just let your tutor know, and we’ll make it work. Moving forward, you’ll receive your invoice at the end of each month for the following month’s classes.
